Julio and Kanis chose New Zealand for a reason most couples do, then quickly discovered it was even bigger than they imagined.
They came across to visit this country’s most iconic places, from the towering peaks of Aoraki / Mount Cook National Park to the clear blue waters of Lake Tekapo. Standing beside those wide-open landscapes for the first time, everything felt larger, quieter, and somehow more memorable.
They wandered through the rolling green hills of Hobbiton Movie Set, where the scenery felt straight out of a storybook, then made their way to the lively alpine town of Queenstown, where every turn seemed to reveal another postcard-worthy view.
This journey wasn’t just about visiting famous places. It was about slowing down together, seeing overwhelming nature for the first time, and sharing moments that felt small in the best possible way. Quiet laughs, wind across the lakes, mountains that made everything else fade into the background.
