P1 Harmony
Close to 3,000 fans filled The Trusts Arena in Henderson on 16 July 2024. For many of them, it was a moment years in the making. P1 Harmony had brought their 2024 Live Tour, P1ustage H: UTOP1A, to Auckland, and we were on the floor to film it.
The six-member South Korean group is known for cinematic music videos, detailed choreography and high-energy live shows. The Auckland date was part of their Australia and New Zealand run. Hugo filmed the full arc of the night: wide shots of the arena and the crowd, close performance moments, and the reactions of fans who had waited a long time for this show. Chi photographed the concert at the same time.
Concert work is fast. Stage lighting changes constantly, and the best moments last a fraction of a second. With choreography this precise, the job is to anticipate those moments rather than chase them, and to show the atmosphere and scale so the film holds up long after the night is over.
