Temples and neon streets. Bullet trains and quiet ryokans. Japan can be fast and modern one minute and calm and traditional the next, and this film sets out to show why it belongs on your list.
Those pairings are the heart of the film. A good introduction lets the viewer feel both sides of the country. We made it for Travel Answer Group, known as TAG, together with Grow Tourism. It is one of four destination films in the same series, alongside Australia, Tahiti and New Zealand.
The film was released in January 2025. It is part of a longer working relationship with Grow Tourism that also includes the course films Advancing Tourism and Woman in Tourism, interview videos for their online training modules, and event coverage at TRENZ 2024 in Wellington.
