Pan's Table Season 3
Pan cooked. Pan shared. At Pan's Table, the dishes do the talking: about Cambodia, where he is from, and why it matters to him.
Season 3 of this food tasting event was held in Auckland, and we filmed it. This season Pan served a handcrafted Cambodian noodle dish, all made from scratch.
Our job was to let the food carry that story. We filmed against a warm, elegant backdrop, looking for frames that bring together culture, flavour and the homely feel of a shared meal. The aim was a film where a viewer understands, without being told, that each dish is about more than the plate. Food is more than a meal. It is an experience, and a short film is one of the best ways to share it with people who could not be there on the night. The film was released in July 2025.
