Vera cafe - Vol 1
A regular customer walks into Vera Cafe, starts an order, and then commits the one sin no barista can forgive: he changes his mind.
Vera Cafe Vol 1 is the first in a series of short comedy films we made for Vera Cafe's social media, where a short, funny moment is more likely to be watched and shared than a straight advert. Instead of telling viewers about the cafe, the series is set inside it, with a customer most people have either met or been.
Comedy on a small screen comes down to timing. The setup has to be quick, the reaction has to land, and the whole thing has to finish before the viewer loses interest. This first episode set up the character. He came back in Vol 2 and Vol 3. The film was released in July 2025.
